Forest-green textured lawn, the design drawn from ancient firn patterns, carved by time. Across it, Kashmiri embroidery sprawls in cherry, rose pink, sky blue and sage, a forest in bloom. Tiny speckles of mirror are smattered through the threads, catching light like dew at dawn.
Tangerine borders frame the shirt like dusk on bark, edged with heirloom geometry and gold tassels that fall like pine cones. A baby leaf-green silk satin dupatta cascades, embroidered on all four sides, soft as new leaves after rain.

This is the altitude of memory.
This is the valley, rooted and unbound.
